All “Missing Documents” Accounted For….LOL

 Cal Land File-Homeowner’s Documents

 

I started working on this again, trying to locate the General Disclosure Addendum document. I reached out to Centex Homes and emailed them today and got a very quick response from Sara Stadley, a Warranty Agent for Centex Northern California. She reminded me that this document is part of the Homeowner’s Documents that we received from California Land Title of Marin. She told me: “You should have a copy of the document within your sales agreement.” Well, I grabbed it out of my file cabinet and there it was in that nice big blue and white Cal Land file! The missing document from our HOA website was in my drawer all this time! So that is pretty funny folks…

Now every Owner should already have theirs too. My unit number 146 and issuance date 05-26-05 is  located in the upper right hand corner. There is no need for me to continue searching elsewhere for this. And, each Owner already has their own too! And there on page 11 is the part that refers to our Fuel Modification Plan and Fire Resistant Plant List. There is no need then for me to post this entire document on the blog. 

I am so happy that I did this today. I will now finish up by printing out our other governing documents and putting them in this very nice file that Cal Land provided to me 9 years ago. I encourage all of the Meadow Park Owners to do the same. It is good to have a paper copy of our original governing documents available in your own personal file at home….And the best place for them is this handy Cal Land file which I received from Patty Bennett, (Vice President of Cal Land Title) over 9 years ago…

GOVERNING DOCUMENTS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF AN HOA AND WITHOUT ACCESS TO THEM EVERYTHING CAN GO WRONG. KEEP YOURS IN A SAFE PLACE AND READ THEM. THEY ARE HERE TO PROTECT US BY ENSURING THAT OUR OWNERSHIP RIGHTS REMAIN INTACT, NO MATTER WHO SAYS OTHERWISE….
